This is one of the questions that I will address today. Not only that, but I want to explain why we may or may not get a second stimulus check and what is currently holding it up. So many people have been begging for additional stimulus payments, but that has fallen on deaf ears with congress. They only seem to be worried about the upcoming election,, not the American people. If you thought that a second stimulus package would have been passed by now which would have given American's more stability then you are not alone, I thought that as well. What you need to understand is that stimulus payments are some of the only payments that American's are getting. If you are currently unemployed, then you rely 100% on your state and the federal unemployment boost to keep your lights on, the roof over your head, and keep food on the table. As of right now a new stimulus check won't be seen until October if we see it at all. As for other stimulus though, it is still readily available. For instance, food assistance and rental assistance programs are currently being rolled out to help out many people.
