What we have known for some time is that the Republicans want to wait and see what is going to happen over the next couple of weeks before they decide on giving the American people more stimulus payments. With that said, there is stuff that is starting to come out of the Senate that makes me think that we will be getting a stimulus check of some kind, but it probably won't be the big amount that many people keep hearing about. The next stimulus check payment will most likely be around $1,200 and it could even be smaller than that. What you should be expecting moving forward is the stimulus check that comes out of the Senate WILL contain some sort of incentive to get people back to work. I say this because many people are living the good life on unemployment, but that won't last long. If you are currently on unemployment and thinking that you won't have to go back to work since you are getting paid very well now, then just know that you will be forced to go back to work at some point and the government knows this.
