It is because of this scenario that I want to issue a warning to you. A lot of people have been receiving their stimulus payments through the new stimulus debit card and because of this they are thinking that it is a scam. Why? Simply because the envelope the card comes in looks sketchy, the letter inside sends them to a website that isn't a .gov website, and nobody ever told them they might be getting their $1,200 stimulus check on a debit card. If you are not sure how you will be getting your stimulus payment, then you might want to check the IRS website and see if they say. Just go and check the "Get My Payment" portal and see if they say a check has been sent, you are getting direct deposit, or maybe the money will be showing up on your Direct Express card. However you are getting it won't matter, the only thing that matters most now is that YOU GET IT! One thing that I have been reading a lot about lately is that more and more people are not worried about the second stimulus check that the senate is discussing now, they are just wondering where their first stimulus check from the Care's Act is at.
